The Ontario Green Commercial Vehicle Program (GCVP),
Part of The Go Green Climate Change Action Plan

The purpose of the GCVP is to encourage Ontario based businesses to switch to environmentally friendly technologies that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) and fuel consumption.

1. NEW $2000.00 Grant.
    
2. The GCVP is a 4 year program with up to 11 million dollars.
    
3. Applies to Dedicated propane vehicles, Class 3 or higher, excluding passenger vehicles.
    
4. Applies to over-the-road vehicles.
    
5. Applies to corporations and individuals.
    
6. The program is retroactive to August 2007. The application deadline for “eligible green technology acquisitions” has now been extended to February 13, 2009. Please give us a call if you qualify for this new Grant.

Though not a dedicated alternative fuel system, the Prins VSI system which is designed to start the vehicle in cold weather using gasoline is eligible for the GCVP.
