Cost Analysis Example:
10 Vehicles
5 Years
A) Gasoline use / week: 5000L
B) Gasoline cost / litre: 1.00
C) Weekly gasoline cost: $5,000
(C = A X B)
D) *Propane use / week: 6000L
(D = A X 1.20)
E) Propane cost / litre: .50
F) Weekly propane cost: $3000
(F = D X E)
G) Weekly savings: $2,000
(G = C - F)
H) Annual savings: $104,000.00
(H = G X 52)
I) 5 year savings: $520,000.00
(I = H X number of years)
J) Less conversion cost: ($50,000)
K) SAVINGS: $470,000.00
(K = I - J)
**Conversion cost: $50,000
**Conversion costs vary from $3000.00 to $5000.00 per vehicle.
